I've always dreamed of having a Doodle. They are the perfect combination of cuteness, fluffiness, and intelligence. The right opportunity arose as I began my journey as a freelance graphic designer.

Poppy quickly became my world. We go everywhere and nowhere together, and I can’t imagine life without her. She is great company, entertainment, and inspiration.

And that’s where Poppy & Lou comes in. Poppy & Lou is a business idea that grew out of my love for Poppy and All Things Goldendoodle. Through Halloween costumes, doggy birthday parties, and custom Christmas cards, Poppy is my muse, igniting a new and unexpected passion for my design skills. While I do have a soft spot for Doodles, Poppy and I love dog friends of all shapes and sizes and find designing around different breeds tons of fun. 

And while Lou isn’t my real name (it’s Kristie, by the way), it’s a nickname that always makes me smile.
